Our Profile

Accounting Lab is a Private Institute of Accountancy and Financial Training. It has been approved by the Ministry of Education of Cyprus on 23rd of June 2015 to operate as a private Institute of Accountancy.

GCSE Accounting

Nicolas Demetriou, Managing Director

  • Graduated in 2002 From the Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA(Hons) in Accounting & Finance.
  • Worked in the UK in industry until 2004.
  • Began his career as an academic teaching accountancy at the American Academy in Nicosia.
  • In 2008 he joined the Grammar School of Nicosia as a teacher of accountancy.
  • In 2014 he founded his own company, the Financial Training Lab Ltd, which owns the Private Institute “Accounting Lab”.
  • In 2015 he becomes a visiting lecturer at the Higher Hotel Institute of Cyprus
  • In 2015 the Accounting Lab becomes authorised by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus.
  • In 2016 the Accounting Lab becomes an authorised registered license-paying LCCI centre.
  • In 2017 he qualifies as a Chartered Management Accountant and becomes an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Chartered Global Management Accountants
